Writing & Essays

The work on the page.

Diane writes on youth online safety, platform accountability, grief, and the systems that fail families. Her longer work is a memoir in progress, centered on her son Chris. Shorter pieces are forthcoming — on how children navigate (and outmaneuver) parental safeguards, on what it feels like to deliver evidence to lawmakers who may or may not be listening, and on the mechanics of loss.

This page will grow. Check back, or get in touch to be notified when new pieces publish.

Untitled memoir

A memoir centered on Diane's son Chris — his life, his death, and what she found when she started investigating. Written with the structure of a forensic inquiry and the voice of a mother who has nothing left to lose by telling the truth. Currently being written.

Bylines coming soon.
